Prayer Is Essential

OUR FIRST REQUEST IS CONSISTENT PRAYER!

Pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in India and Africa. We know them by name and love them dearly. They are truly our Christian family. We have served with them for years. Many face uncertain futures simply because they are Christians.

Prayer Points

Thank you for joining us in this essential prayer ministry. The points below are general prayer requests that you can always use to lift up LION and our LIOs. Each month there are new specific requests we send only to those who request to be on our prayer team. We also send out a monthly newsletter to our email list that includes news from our LIOs. If you are not on our newsletter list, please signup.

  1. Pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in India and Africa. We love them dearly. We know many of them by name. They are truly our Christian family. We have served with them for years. Many face uncertain futures simply because they are Christians.

  2. Pray for the ongoing projects we support in India and Africa. Our Leaders in Obscurity (LIOs) lead these projects and turn them into self-supporting entities serving the people around them. Pray for integrity among our leaders and that their personal as well as professional witness would be great among those who don’t know Jesus.

  3. Pray for our home staff, specifically Jerry Vreeman that he would communicate clearly with those in other countries, his teaching would be welcome and effective, that he would hear God’s direction for LION in the pursuit of the spread of the gospel, the maturity of believers, and the development of poverty relieving projects that will support them and bring help to their needy communities.

Pray for our brothers and sisters that they would know His presence with them, for the right kind of boldness, and discernment to know what to do.

"For this cause we also, since the day we heard it,
do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,…"
