Some L.I.O.N. partners and donors have committed to support several orphanages in India.
New Life Orphanage in South India, and United Gospel Orphanage in Delhi are managed by leaders with whom we have a relationship through our training.
Any funds designated for the support of orphans will be distributed to these two ministries directly.
In 1907, the first missionary to South Sudan began a colony for leper converts near Malek. Today, there is still a village of over 100 desperate Christians who suffer from leprosy without significant medical help or attention. Please help us provide some training and resources to the local Christian leaders who have a burden to help them.
It was a happy reunion and celebration. 17 months after his first visit with ministry partner Internationall Steward, Jerry returned to Madhupur for worship and communion with oral church leaders.
There were 18 leaders the first time. This time, there were 122! Three hours on Saturday and four hours on Sunday in extreme heat and close quarters, did not dampen the spirit, the worship, or communion.
Eager for stories, songs, and teaching, the leaders brought gifts, gave testimonies, and celebrated communion on their knees together.
Graduates of our partner “Child Survival Program” near Madhupur, India tell their stories through music and dance.

55 new women now attend the classes, using stories, pictures, songs, and dialogue. Experts say 67% of the world’s population learns through non-literate, oral methods.
Here's a photo from the LION India board meeting today! Lots of talking, planning and praying... Looks like we will be managing the publishing of a new book series that will be translated into 4 languages, beginning January 2014 -- exciting things are happening!
