Ayanavaram Slum

Today we visited the Ayanavaram slum area near Kilpauk where elderly woman and abandoned children are found.

Abandoned elderly homeless women receive help, hope, and healing under the care of dedicated ministry partners and volunteers.

The kitchen is small and there are but meager supplies for feeding 16 elderly resident women, 7 abandoned children, and 28 daily daycare senior women.

Please pray for the leaders in obscurity in this area…

Short plane ride, loooong train ride

Last night Jerry flew from Delhi to Patna– about 1,000km. Staying the night at an LIO’s house, took a 5:30AM train to Madhupur (300km SE of Patna). 5 hrs on an Indian train is no small feat! Tonight Jerry will speak in Madhupur & preach a few Sunday services. He is doing well, but please pray for continued strength & health.

First day in Dehli

A wonderful first day of LIO training in Delhi!. The topic of the day was “Story-centric Stewardship” & we were joined by 18 key leaders of the Orality Movement.
This is an advanced workshop & is the first ever attempt by L.I.O.N./International Steward to present stewardship completely in story form .
Great things are happening here & we look forward to what the next 2 weeks have in store!
