This is the next educational step for the thousands of pastors and distributors who are already signed up for training. Over 2-3 days of intensive teaching and interaction, these dedicated LIOs study the Bible, memorize scripture passages, write out their testimonies, and develop their own personal strategy for reaching their communities with the Gospel. Upon completion of the multiple day sessions, each person receives a diploma called “Diploma in Literature Evangelism.” Thousands already proudly and prominently mount these diplomas in their homes or churches, giving them strong credibility and effectiveness in reaching their communities.
These sessions are currently being taught all over India in Tamil, Hindi, and English by certified staff under the direction of Mano Daniel. Given the high interest but difficult of travel and assembly in many areas of the country, the current staff is able to reach only a small percentage of those who truly want to participate and learn.
During 2009, L.I.O.N. Outreach International is prayerfully planning to videotape and edit these multiple day sessions into usable DVD presentations with supplementary training materials. This will greatly increase the numbers of LIOs who are able to participate and become more effective in reaching their own villages.
This is the highest educational course offered through FPTL in literature evangelism. This is a 4-5 day intensive training in using Bible based tracts and other literature to help plant churches.
LIOs who attend have already gone through “Motivational Training” and received their “Diploma in Literature Evangelism.”
This week of training includes:
L.I.O.N. Outreach International is prayerfully planning to videotape and edit this course into an audio visual format with supplementary training materials. This will greatly increase the numbers of LIOs who are able to participate and become more effective and prolific in planting churches throughout India.
L.I.O.N. will only begin these important and much needed projects once the financial support has been raised.
